21:37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called [the mount] of Olives.
21:38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him. |
26:1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples, |
14:1 After two days was [the feast of] the passover, and of unleavened bread: | 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. |
26:2 Ye know that after two days is [the feast of] the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. |

26:3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
26:4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtlety, and kill [him.] |
14:1 and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put [him] to death. | 22:2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; |
26:5 But they said, Not on the feast [day,] lest there be an uproar among the people. | 14:2 But they said, Not on the feast [day,] lest there be an uproar of the people. | 22:2 for they feared the people. |

12:2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. |
26:6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, | 14:3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, |
26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, | 14:3 there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; |
12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, |
26:7 and poured it on his head, as he sat [at meat.] | 14:3 and she brake the box, and poured [it] on his head. |

12:3 and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. |
26:8 But when his disciples saw [it,] they had indignation, saying, To what purpose [is] this waste?
26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. |
14:4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?
14:5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. |
12:4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's [son,] which should betray him,
12:5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? |

12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. |
26:10 When Jesus understood [it,] he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
26:11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. 26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did [it] for my burial. |
14:6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.
14:7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. 14:8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. |
12:7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
12:8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. |
26:13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, [there] shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. | 14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, [this] also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. |

26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, | 14:10 And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, | 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. |
26:14 went unto the chief priests, | 14:10 went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. | 22:4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. |
26:15 And said [unto them,] What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. | 14:11 And when they heard [it,] they were glad, and promised to give him money. | 22:5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. |
26:16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him. | 14:11 And he sought how he might conveniently betray him. | 22:6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude. |
